Traveller.

Whilst digging through some old boxes of minis I finally found my 15mm Traveller figures! They are pretty much all from the original Citadel boxed sets plus a few blister packs.

Group shot!

Some mixed robots and Vacc suited individuals.

A motley band of adventurers, thugs and citizens.

Some ships crew and a few marines in the background.

A few painted!

I still have the boxes for Set 1: Adventurers, Set 3: Ships Crew and Set 4: Civilians as below -

A friend had the Set 2: Military and Set 5: Aliens and offered to sell tham to me many years ago. Wish I had now...

There is a good guide on the Collecting Citadel Miniatures site.

Good news is you can still pick up many of the figures from RAFM and my mate Rob has literally tons of these as he prepares for a 15mm Sci-fi game he is setting up. Very tempted with those Vargr and Aslan though!

Cthulhu Rises!!

Dug out my old Call of Cthulhu miniatures, mainly by Grenadier but a few from an old range by - Metal Magic called "Dunwich Detectives". I have about 36 human figures from a wise old professor to a young flapper. There are quite a few superb sculps in among them and I particularly like the 'Dandy with Automatic.'

I also have a mixture of their 'monster' range including some nice Deep Ones and a rather scary Dark Young of Shub Niggurath.

Not sure about the Grenadier ones but you still seem to be able to get the Metal Magic ones em4 Miniatures - Dunwich Detectives.

I had painted most of them but the majority are not that well done to be honest! I took a few photos of some of the horrors though as they are a little more passable...

A Star Spawn of Cthulhu and some degenerate Deep One allies.

A Nightgaunt, a Ghoul and and a Yithian.

Two scheming Serpent Men and the wonderful Dark Young of Shub Niggurath.

A Byahkee, Mi-Go and rather sorry looking Hound of Tindalos.

Unfortunately I seem to have missed a few classics in this range, including a couple of Elder Things (would be really useful for my "Beyond the Mountains of Madness" game) a Nyarlathotep, a Tsathoggua and a Hunting Horror.
SAN Loss!! Elder Things!

Tsathoggua (or Salacious Crumb?)

Run away, it's Nyarlathotep!!

A Hunting Horror...

Check out Grenadier Lost Minis Wiki for many more pics.

First post!

Thought I would get a first post down. I have been developing an interest in more modern and horror style games and thought I should start a new diary to record anything regarding this second project. I have always been a big fan of horror RPG's such as Call of Cthulhu and All Flesh Must Be Eaten and the step to miniatures (via Last Night on Earth and Zombies!!!) seems to make sense (???)

The inspiration comes from my love of zombies / horror / movies / tv / books / sci-fi etc and the new gamut of games that have appeared of late. Particularly two sets of rules I have recently picked up All Things Zombie: Better Dead Than Zed
& Crooked Dice's 7TV.
I also love Vampifans World of the Undead. Man I would love to have his collection!!
